The topic of global warming has become widely accepted and has come to be undeniable. COP21 was officially signed and hope seems to be on the horizon, but can the Artic last long enough to see the policy fulfilled? The Artic is warming twice as fast as the rest of the Earth and is the hottest it's been in a century. The average annual air temperature over land was 2.3 degrees Fahrenheit above the long-term average. Ice is melting at a record rate causing large numbers of walruses to lose their natural habitat, and rising sea temperatures are shifting fish communities northward, according to this year’s Artic Report Card Released on Tuesday by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
