Cow farts have become a serious problem. They release a greenhouse gas that is greatly worse than carbon dioxide called " methane". The cow, goat and sheep population have reached 3.6 billion, all to fulfill human appetites. They represent 11% of human caused greenhouse emissions. Some local farms are now harvesting the so called "farts" by hooking a tube to their innards. A cow can fill a 55 gallon bag a day. This could be the solution to global warming, but many of these farms are selling the gas to be burned elsewhere ehich isn't exactly helpful.
